BasBurg* at the Fira Orígens >

(09/11/12) Next weekend, veal coming from beef calves raised on pasture in Mas La Carrera will be present at the Fira Orígens in Olot, where local producers will be exhibiting their products in several trade stands. We will be at the stand that the agricultural co-operative Cooperativa de La Vall d'en Bas have there, under the logo “Orgullosos de Vosaltres”, what means “proud of you”. That is their butcher's new productivity drive, which has recently been awarded the first prize in the “Agrishops” rank by the Federació de Cooperatives Agràries de Catalunya (Agricultural Co-operatives Federation of Catalunya). The tasting we will be giving is called BasBurg*, and it consists of a mini-vealburger served with La Fageda jam of your choice, all in a vienna bread roll (fresh-baked in the co-operative).
